Privacy policy

Effective 31 October 2026

Holy Plugins is a small music software business in Sydney, Australia, run as a partnership by Harry Marley and Ethan Parodi (ABN 36 842 872 994). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. "We" and "us" mean Holy Plugins.

We don't see or store your full card details. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.

Our email list

We run our email list on Kit (Kit.com Inc, United States). When you sign up we send a confirmation email, and you're only added once you click it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list. If you bring a mate through your referral link, we can see that they signed up through your link.

Buying from us

Our online store and checkout are run by Moonbase, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. That means Moonbase is the seller on your receipt. It takes your payment, charges and pays any sales tax or VAT, and runs your customer account and licence. Moonbase (Moonbase AS, Norway) handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. Moonbase shares order and customer details with us so we can support you. If you buy, we may add you to our email list as a customer. You can unsubscribe at any time, and buying never depends on it.

The Godspeed plugin

Godspeed connects to Moonbase to activate your licence, then checks in from time to time to confirm the licence is still valid. That check sends your licence and computer ID. Godspeed doesn't send your audio, your FL Studio projects or what you do in the plugin. Our free plugins don't send any data.

Website, hosting and email

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare (United States). Cloudflare handles visits to protect and speed up the site, and may give us visit counts without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Emails to our @holyplugins.co addresses pass through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google Gmail inbox. Our site keeps a small note in your browser (local storage) so the sign-up pop-up doesn't keep coming back. It holds no personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the services that run our business: Kit (email list), Moonbase (store, payments, licences), Cloudflare (hosting, security, email forwarding) and Google (our support inbox). We may also share it with our accountant or lawyer, or when the law requires it. If Holy Plugins is ever sold or changes structure, for example into a company, your information would pass to the new owner under this policy.

Information sent overseas

Some of these services store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States and Europe. We pick services that protect data, and where the law requires it we rely on their standard protections for international transfers, such as the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@holyplugins.co and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in the EU, UK or Switzerland, you can also object to how we use your data, ask us to limit it, or ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent (our email list), you can withdraw it at any time. Our legal bases are: your consent (email list), our contract with you (orders, licences, support), and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business (site security, visit counts).

If you're unhappy with how we handled your information, tell us first and we'll try to fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local data protection authority.

Children

Our site and plugins aren't aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll also email the people it affects. Questions: support@holyplugins.co, or Holy Plugins, 51 Indwarra Avenue, North Kellyville NSW 2155, Australia.
